About Sanctuary
The owners of this sanctuary actually owned 130 acre of land in 1988. They started a restaurant business, which soon became very popular because of the beautiful ambience. Later, six accommodation studios were constructed that attracted more visitors from Gold Coast, interstate and overseas. Till 1998 the 30 acre section of the property was untouched, until the discovery of a large cave of glow-worms. Decisions were taken to convert the area into eco-adventure spot for its pristine and grand forest along with rock pools. After 5 years of hard work, finally the Skywalk construction was completed with tower columns, walkway and cantilever. The owners contributed their time and dedication to convert their property into a popular place rich with flora and fauna, breeding rare butterflies and making the sanctuary an unavoidable travel destination.
