The event is organised by the founding association which is again a collaboration of renowned federations like the Swimming Australia, the USA Swimming, the Japan Amateur Swimming Federation and the Swimming Canada.

The federations have conceptualised a biennial competition to help national teams compete with contenders at this world class international championship. Furthermore the competition will help swimmers get set for the Olympic Games and also the FINA world Championships.

The Hancock Prospecting Pan Pacific Championships Pool Competition is going to be conducted at none other than the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre. However, the Open Water Championship is likely to be held at the Southport Marine Stadium positioned in Gold Coast’s Broadwater precinct.
