With the onset of spring, the Gold Coast region in Australia has already started to receive its warmth. Gold Coast has already started to host a wide variety of events with many of them being organised in and around Broadbeach. Tourists visiting Broadbeach and other parts of the Gold Coast now can get ample scope to feel the pulse of the place by being a part of these new and exciting events. 

1. Motorsport in Paradise 1991 to 2013 – Featuring an interesting collection of pieces of motorsport history on the Gold Coast, this event offers a perfect glimpse of the glorious past. The collection dates back to 1991 when John Andretti attained victory in his Lola T91/00 Chevrolet Ilmor A (CART Indy Car World Series). Situated at The High Street, beneath the Hilton Hotel, the event will take place from 18th – 27th October 2013. The collection will feature valuable possessions from each year of this grand event that have been donated by legends, teams, drivers, race fans, event organisers and volunteers.
2. Armor All Gold Coast 600 – An exciting event lined up from 25th – 27th October 2013, V8 Supercars Armor All Gold Coast 600 is all about adventure, fun and glamour on the Gold Coast. Promising full packed action and chart topping performances, Season of Endurance finale will witness world’s top V8 Supercar drivers battle for victory. The event will take place at V8 Supercars Circuit, Surfers Paradise QLD, 4217. While adults need to buy tickets, admission for children within 12 years of age is free. 

3. Splash III – Back by popular demand, Splash III will be soon taking place on 26th October at Hilton Surfers Paradise. Featuring world class venues, top DJs and five star food, the Splash pool events are the country’s top class pool events. Splash is the ultimate choice for revellers looking for fun, frolic, luxury and comfort. 

4. Discover Sailing Day at Southport Yacht Club – Come 27th October, Southport Yacht Club will organise a “Come and Try Sailing” Day for the public. The event is free and will take place from 9 am to 12 pm. Adults and children keen to try out sailing will get to sail in Broadwater under the close supervision of trainers.
