Events to Watch Out For In the Gold Coast in November

November, one of the best months to visit the Gold Coast, is here. Spring has set in and there are a number of exciting events lined up. Sneak in early in November to enjoy a great beach holiday or visit the theme parks to be a part of the fun and excitement. A lot of exciting events are going to take place throughout November, making it an exciting and eventful month.

• Kirra Kite Festival: A huge celebration of the kite culture, multicultural arts, music, street performance and gourmet food, Kirra Kite Festival is organised on the southern Gold Coast. This will be a weekend program starting on the 15th of November with a beachside Film Festival, followed by ‘Flavours of Kirra’, a food & wine event on the 16th featuring fire shows, night kite flying, in-venue entertainment, final event taking place in Roughton Park and then finally on the 17th November there will be live entertainment, sumptuous multicultural cuisine, kids workshops and colourful character kites flying high in the sky.
• Gold Coast Car Show: The Annual Car Show held on the Gold Coast is an interesting exhibition of various Show Cars. This exhibition displays the class and colour of vehicles since early 1900s up to the latest models. Trophies are awarded to Best Standard Show Cars, Modified Show Cars and there are other special category awards too. Watch out for this impressive and exciting event on the 17th of November where you can enjoy live entertainment, food, drink, local bands, kid’s rides, competition and many other fun-filled activities.
• Gold Coast Swim Festival: This festival exhibits the latest collections of Australia’s best swim and resort wear brands. Emerging designers are awarded on the basis of their collections. The Gold Coast Bikini Parade will be the signature event where the emerging designers and students of fashion can present their collections in a beach parade. This event gives the students an opportunity to showcase their talent in front of well-known designers who have made a name in the world of fashion. Open to young girls and women of every age, this event will be an exciting one for sure. Get yourself prepared to participate in this event on the 29th of November.
