The city is all set once again to witness the musical saga from 20th to 22nd June 2014, where the Country meets the Coast. There are a whole lot of events lined up for the lovers of this genre and for those who want to sync in with the melodious mood of Broadbeach. All you need to do is choose the venue and prepare yourself to groove in with the blues. Entertain yourself next to the pristine beachfront of Queensland, without paying anything for the Grand Show!

The country has a long tradition of country music; in spite of its origin in the American soil, Australia has its own unique style. There is a strong influence of English, Scottish, Irish folk ballads and added to this list is their own tradition blended with a strong storyline, which gives country music altogether an entirely distinct style. What’s country music without string instruments!
The event kicks off with Thor Phillips, the multi-instrumentalist, singer and songwriter, at Broadbeach Mall. The spectators is about to engross themselves into the dynamic and energetic performance of Thor along with his amazing band. If you are an Adam Harvey fan, catch him at the same location on 20th June. This award winning country music star is also a part of the festival, ready to cheer you with his incredible voice. There are many other performers ready to swing you with their songs.
Troy Cassar-Daley, one of the top Australian Country Musician, will be performing at Surf Parade on 21st June. Once again he will be sharing the same stage with Adam Harvey, on the closing day of the Country Music Festival, 2014. Apart from them, you can even enjoy the concert of Amber Lawrence, Seleen McAlister, Trevor White and Route 66, The Lamplights and other popular country musicians and bands.
